With the birth of Christ and the Christmas story, there were many Old Testament prophecies being fulfilled. One of the greatest fulfillments was "a child shall be born and His name shall be Emmanuel," which is translated into God with us. We have a High Priest that came into this world to be with us in all of our sufferings, trials, and even our failures. He understands us.
