"Once Jesus was in a certain place praying. As he finished, one of his disciples came up to him and said, 'Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.'" (Luke 11:1 NLT). Prayer should be birthed out of relationship with the Father. In the gospels, you see Jesus demonstrating this and teaching his disciples as well.

Join us in Mooresville as pastor Marlin Mogusu expands on his message in Wilmington about the relational reality to our prayer lives.

Jacob famously wrestled with God, demanding a blessing from Him. In life, we can often experience moments of wrestling in the midst of moves of God, and it can feel like God is leaving us in the dust. As we reflect on an amazing year at Camp Morley, we look at Jacob and God struggling together, and what happens when we persist with God.

Join us in Wilmington for Camp Sunday as Camp Director Cory Meade shares testimonies from camp and his conclusions from God's movement.

In Mark 12:28-34, Jesus quoted the Shema, one of only two prayers specifically commanded in the Old Testament (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). The first word of the Shema is "Hear." In Hebrew, "Shema" means hearing, understanding, and obeying. When the prayer begins with "Hear, O Israel," it calls us to attentiveness and action. The Holy Spirit seeks those who, like Elijah, will bend to hear the gentle blowing: His still, small voice amid mane competing voices (1 Kings 19:11-12).

Join us in Mooresville as senior pastor Byron Wicker teaches us about the importance of hearing the voice of God.

While encounters with the Lord are transformative, and highly valuable, they won't sustain us by themselves. As seen in Hebrews 3:3-35, the Israelites hardened their hearts and turned away from the Lord on multiple occasions even after seeing miracles for over 40 years. The author of Hebrews leverages the Israelites' experience to remind us to not harden our hearts or fall into sin so that we can stay close to the Lord.

Join us in Wilmington as Senior Pastor Ryan Meade urges us to soften our hearts daily, seeking God's voice and grace to keep our hearts tender and responsive to the Lord.

In a society that has a tendency towards individualism and isolation, God has given an invitation for the church to learn to live together in community and to prioritize connection over division. There is a gift for hearts when we learn to live connected rather than disconnected.

Join us in Chapel Hill as guest speaker Andy Squyres unpacks a revelation on living in a community of the followers of Christ.

There are many voices worldwide, but too many are just echoes. You were made to be a voice in your generation, not an echo. You'll never find your authentic voice by chasing trends, imitating others, or letting culture or the devil define who you are. God shouts His truth but whispers His secrets. To find our genuine voice, we have to bend to hear the secrets he breathes.

Join us in Mooresville as Senior Pastor Byron Wicker continues his journey through the book of Proverbs with a message about the voice of the Lord.

We know that God is good (Ps. 119:68, Luke 18:18-19) and that he loves to give us good gifts (Jam. 1:17, Matt. 7:7-11). We also know that we are God's beloved children and heirs (Gal. 4:6-7). With those truths we can communicate with our loving Father, asking Him with boldness and confidence for the things that are in our hearts and those which we need.

Join us in Wilmington as Senior Pastor Ryan Meade encourages us to approach the Father from a place of being loved sons and daughters and not as slaves or paupers as we ask him to provide us with good gifts.

Understanding the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gift of tongues with biblical clarity can empower us in utilizing the gift of tongues to glorify God. Depending on someone's background or experiences, the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gift of tongues is sometimes not experiences in its fullness in a believer's life. What if there is an invitation to dive a bit deeper in the Scriptures to live more fully in experiencing the benefit of these gifts?

Join us in Chapel Hill as Campus Pastor Michael Pham dives into the Bible concerning the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and how it pertains to the Gift of Tongues.

The youth of RiverLife recently returned from Camp Morley. The theme this year was Unveiled: "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord," (2 Corinthians 3:18 NKJV). There are four veils which were removed by the sacrifice of Jesus, and the final represents the veil between the Gospel and all nations.

Join us for Camp Sunday in Mooresville as camp speaker Will Gelling recaps the veils he shared about at camp and invites us into the unveiling done for the youth and leaders this year at camp.

The voice of the Lord is powerful! As believers, we all have the ability to hear His voice as we see in John 10, where Jesus says, "My sheep hear My voice and they follow me." As we grow in an understanding that we can hear the voice of God, we can also begin to grow and move in the prophetic. The purpose of prophecy is to release edification, exhortation, and comfort with love as the motivation. Every believer needs to learn how to be led by the Holy Spirit and can also start moving in a prophetic anointing.

Join us in Wilmington as special guest speaker Jenn Forte encourages us in our God-given gifting in the prophetic.
