All the Lord provides for us is obtained through faith (Hebrews 11:1), including our spiritual inheritance in Christ. In the book of Joshua, chapter 2 is the story of Rahab, a prostitute, who is mentioned in the Hall of Faith (Hebrews 11:31) and the genealogy of Jesus Christ (Matthew 1:5-6). Rahab's story poses questions: By faith, whom do we align ourselves with? Do we seek the world's acceptance? Do we align with popular cultural narratives? Every believer will reach a point where they must decide between choosing the Lord or following the crowd.
Join us in Mooresville as Senior Pastor Byron Wicker shares a message which challenges us to examine our faith in the Lord.

"The greatest days are still ahead, O, He's just getting started" are the lyrics to a popular song we sing in worship. In this message, we look at Paul's lesson from Abraham in Romans 4 about how to live in faith, hope, and peace during the challenging, yet exciting times in which we live.
Join us in Chapel Hill as Senior Pastor Matthew Bollinger expands on last week's message with a hopeful glimpse into God's sovereign power in our lives.

Our lives are shaped by the choices we make. One choice can alter our destiny and affect those around us. We have the power of choice, but once we have made our choice, we have no power to choose the consequences. But here’s the beauty of the Lord: He knew we would mess up before He called us. He knew that we would get off course and give in to temptation. He didn’t base His plan for our life on our making perfect decisions. God has a plan even for our mistakes. He will cause all things to work for our good if we let Him.
Join us in Mooresville as Senior Pastor Byron Wicker shares a message of encouragement: God is not intimidated by your flaws, so we can walk boldly in Him.

God does some of his best work in us while we're waiting to see him bring our dreams into reality. He did the same in many of the Bible legends that have gone before us. While we're waiting in the waiting (Psalm 40:1), there are some things that we can be actively doing like giving our dreams back to God, continuing to grow in him, seeking him above our dreams, and partnering with him in what he is doing in the waiting. And as we're waiting we can hold on to hope knowing that when at last we see our dreams come true, life's sweetness will satisfy our souls (Proverbs 13:12).
Join us on the last Sunday of 2023 in Wilmington as Pastor Ryan recounts some of the amazing things that God did in 2023 and provides an encouraging word about holding on to hope in the midst of waiting.

2023 was a year of many blessings and a season of multiplication. Here is what the Lord is prophetically declaring over us this year: "Our Father is SPEAKING & BUILDING. Physically, he is building a 'phase 2' building for us on this property. He is saying 'It's a Phase 2 season for RiverLife - Chapel Hill. Last year was a season to multiply. This year is a season to diversify.'" As defined online: "Diversification is a growth strategy that involves entering into a new market or industry - one that your business doesn't currently operate in - while also creating a new product for that new market." We are of a "Kingdom market" in which God is caling us to "diversify" - create new ideas (i.e. wineskins) in new areas (Wilmington, Asheville, the RiverLife School of Ministry, etc.).
Join us in Chapel Hill as Senior Pastor Matthew Bollinger invites us to look at what God has done, is doing, and will do; not just in your church, but in your personal life.

God has a promised future for us, but stepping into the future might feel confusing or dark, like how things were at the beginning of creation (Genesis 1:2). But don't let that get you down. It's not a reason to feel hopeless; instead, it's a reason to have hope. God wants us to be close to Him and experience His strength. Knowing how much He loves us and how powerful He is helps us face life confidently, as it says in Romans 8:37-39, where we're called "more than conquerors through Him who loved us." If you let Him, He will bring you safely to His future.
Join us in Mooresville as Senior Pastor Byron Wicker as he wraps up 2023 with an encouragement on hope from the book of Joshua.

Scientists are discovering that there is a flash of light at conception. There was a shining cloud that overshadowed Mary at conception with Jesus, the Son of God. It was prophesied that He would give light to those who sit in darkness and would be a light to the Gentiles. This light will never overcome darkness. Jesus is the light of the world, and because we are in Christ, we are now the light of the world that shines brightly for a world that is in darkness. In this Christmas season, may we be reminded that we are the City on a Hill, shining on the path for others to find their way to Christ.
Join us in Mooresville for our Christmas service as pastor Becky Wicker shares a revelation of the light of Jesus in our lives.

Like Jesus, Paul's perspective on women had the Father's heart to unify. Paul was led by the Holy Spirit in his day to help people find the heart of God in the midst of their less than perfect situations (i.e. slavery, Roman occupation of Israel, persecution and slaughters of Christians, & a male-dominated culture). This was not an endorsement of these cultural evils, instead, God knew that throughout the rest of history there would always be wars, genocides, one group oppressing another, etc. and wanted to write his Word in order that we could find Hope despite difficult situations.
Join us in Chapel Hill as Senior Pastor Matthew Bollinger looks at two difficult statements recorded by Paul in 1 Corinthians and 1 Timothy and searches for the theology of Jesus in them.

The Book of Ephesians is not for wilderness wanderers, those who want to live on the fringe of Christianity, but believers ready to embrace and possess their rightful inheritance in Christ. It reveals our land of promises and tells us how we can move from having a mindset of wilderness wandering to possessing all that God has dreamed for us. But we must cross over from where we are to the wisdom of God.
Join us in Mooresville as Senior Pastor Byron Wicker encourages us to leave the comfort of our normal and enter into the promise of His goodness.
