Our theme verse for this series is found in Paul's "dissertation on Grace"... the very first letter he would ever write, which states that we are all made equal in Christ (Galatians 3:27-29). If Jesus is perfect theology, what were his interactions with women like? Jesus was a "box-breaker." He confronted the ethnic tension and gender norms in ancient Israel. In a Jewish culture that instructed men to not even talk with women in public, his 12 disciples found him having conversation with a woman in Samaria. He was scandalous! Yet, if Jesus was so in favor of breaking stereotypes and empowering women, why did He not choose women to be among his 12 disciples?
Join us in Chapel Hill as Senior Pastor Matthew Bollinger continues his series about Women in Ministry by taking a look at some of the women among the disciples who followed Jesus from town to town.

In Ephesians, Chapter 3 marks a pivotal shift from exploring our spiritual inheritance in Christ to providing practical guidance on embracing these blessings and overcoming the enemy. Paul, in this chapter, delves into his calling and shares a compelling prayer, revealing the profound magnitude of insights and their application that led him to earnestly pray to this mighty prayer.
Join us in Mooresville as Senior Pastor Byron Wicker continues his walk through Ephesians with new revelation.

When we think about rest, we commonly think about sleep, or Sabbath, or even vacation. In Matthew 11:28-30 Jesus offers us rest in the middle of our labors and burdens. There is an open invitation to find rest in the middle of doing the things that we have been called and created to do.
Join us in Wilmington as Senior Pastor Ryan Meade encourages us to lay our burdens at the feet of Jesus and rest in him.

"The Lord gives the command: the women who proclaim good news are a great army." In Psalm 68, David writes "Kings of armies flee, they flee, and she who remains at home will divide the spoils!" (Psalms 68:11-12 NASB2020). A few years ago, Dr. Ed Silvoso, a participant of the next-wave of the Argentine Revival, wrote a powerful book called "Women: God's Secret Weapon." He writes: "One of the most fascinating verses in the Bible is Psalm 68:11 (above) which describes a company of women who proclaim good news. The intriguing fact is not women preaching the gospel but the fact that in this particular case they are convened by the Lord to destroy His enemies. They do such a great job that kings and armies flee in total disarray, making it possible for these women to also loot the enemy camp."
Join us in Chapel Hill as Senior Pastor Matthew Bollinger takes a look at some of the women surrounding Jesus and his ministry, and examine his interactions with them.

How was Paul the Apostle able to "do all thinks through Christ who strengthens me?" (Philippians 4:13). Throughout the book of Acts and in his Epistles, we see Paul confronted with circumstances that can generously be described as less than ideal. However, through it all, he maintains joy. The answer to Paul's joy can be found within the book of Ruth.
Join us in Mooresville as Pastor Andy Squyres takes a look at the lives of Naomi and Ruth in order to explore how to make sense out of our lives whether we are in abundance or lack.

During his earthly ministry, Jesus was constantly challenging the social norms regarding women. Essentially, he was asking His disciples to "repent" - change the way they think about and view women and children. Jesus is perfect theology. Religion has said for centuries to women: "No, don't bother dreaming with God about being a leader, you are a woman." and "No, don't aspire to leadership, you are a woman." What does Jesus say? What are his interactions like with and around women? Jesus is perfect theology, therefore, you must interpret Paul through the lens of Jesus.
Join us in Chapel Hill as Senior Pastor Matthew Bollinger lays a theological basis for the role of women in the church. Stick around for part 2 & 3 where we look at specific women in the Bible and church history to gain an understanding regarding Jesus' view on women. Finally, in part 4, we will examine the statements of Paul in his letters to seek and gain clarity.

We often yearn for a word from the Lord, anticipating that a new word will resolve our challenges. However, there are instances where a new revelation may not offer the solutions we seek (Isaiah 40:21). In such moments, we should revisit and reflect upon the wisdom already given to us (Ecclesiastes 9:11). When we do so, we begin to discern overlooked possibilities and recognize comparative advantages previously unseen. Then, we can pick ourselves up, encourage ourselves in the Lord (1 Samuel 30:6-8), and move forward into the life we’ve dreamed of.
Join us in Mooresville as special guest speaker Dr. Noah Manyika encourages us on the nature of old revelation.

The Lord is expanding our capacity! Not just building and church plants, but the Lord wants to expand our capacity to love like He does. As Isaiah 54:2 says, "Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings. Do not spare. Lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes." Let God stretch your "tent pegs." Let go, Let God, and let grace do its work.

We all need guidance from the Holy Spirit to make important decisions. In Ephesians 1:17, Paul offers a prayer for those who need direction. He appealed to the God of the Lord Jesus, the Father of Glory, to give (impart) to the Ephesian church a spirit of wisdom and revelation. It means our heavenly Father wants to hand over or impart everything we need. All we need to do is persistently ask Him with a heart of gratitude.
Join us in Mooresville as Senior Pastor Byron Wicker reads from Ephesians and teaches us the importance of earnest prayer.

We are meant to live face-to-face with Jesus. Get anchored and hear the voice of the Lord for yourself.
