God designed us for joy, not worry. He tells us not to worry about anything because worry is a thief and a destroyer. Worrying involves focusing on possible adverse outcomes and anticipating failure, difficulty, and turmoil by fixating on "what ifs" and worst-case scenarios. Whenever you feel tempted to worry, view it as an opportunity from the Holy Spirit to pray with gratitude. The more you worry, the less time you spend praying. However, the more you pray, the less you worry.

The world is fascinated with AI!  Predicted to do a lot of good, yet could destroy the world as we know it.  “AI” is simply a counterfeit to what we have been given in Christ - SI, or “Spiritual Intelligence”.  In Christ, we have access to “all knowledge in the heavenly places. The Scripture lays out how Jesus accessed this knowledge and, therefore, we can access it as well.

Like us, the early Apostles didn’t see a glorious church. Instead, they saw the lack, the faults, and the failures. They didn’t see the church as though it might be glorious someday. To them, she already was glorious. Despite the disappointments, discouragement, and wounds many of us have suffered within the church, it is crucial to recognize that God is in the process of raising and equipping a beautiful Bride. We will be ill-prepared for what is coming on the earth apart from being a part of the church.

Join us in Mooresville as Senior Pastor Byron Wicker reveals the glory and necessity of the Church.

Humans often find themselves divided over various factors such as politics, race, socio-economic status, theology, and gender. However, as Christians, we are called to keep unity with other believers, not try to create unity (Ephesians 4:1-6). Unity is bestowed upon us as a precious gift. Our unity is sourced in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is undivided (1 Corinthians 1:12-13). Instead of focusing on denominational distinctions and church systems, we should intentionally humble ourselves to keep the unity of the faith in the bond of peace with fellow believers who may hold differing views.

Join us in Mooresville as special Guest Speaker Wieslaw Ziemba teaches us on the importance of unity within the Church.

The ways of Jesus are simple and hospitable. His kindness stops for the poor and downtrodden. He cares for the widow and orphan and releases healing and forgiveness. In this message, several stories of miracles and healing are told. In addition, simple teaching on how every Christian carries an Open Heaven wherever we go is imparted.  As a result, every Christian can heal the sick and release the love and power of Jesus.

Throughout our spiritual journey, we often find ourselves in situations where we've labored diligently, yet the fruits of our efforts seem elusive (Luke 5:1-11). These moments of uncertainty serve as God's invitation to explore our faith's mysteries. It's essential to remember that faith isn't synonymous with possessing all the answers; instead, it's a call to venture into the unknown, take risks, and embrace uncertainty. Paradoxically, certainty can even impede our faith, for true faith is about daring to wade into waters over our heads.

Often there is one thing that trips us up in relationship - unmet expectations. The same is often true in our relationship with God. In this message, we will contrast two Johns in the New Testament: John the Baptist and John the Apostle.  Both of these faced extreme cases of unmet expectations. How they handled these situations gives us beautiful insight in dealing with these in our own relationship with God our loving Father.

The state of our minds has a significant impact on our overall well-being, including our physical, mental, and spiritual health. The Bible speaks of the Mind that is in Christ (Philippians 2:5), the Mind of the Lord, and the Mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). Additionally, the Bible refers to the Mind of Jesus when it discusses a renewed mind (Romans 12:2) and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Jesus' first sermon emphasized adopting His way of thinking (Matthew 4:17), which leads to prosperity in life.

Israel was blessed with experiencing the presence of God while it lived in the Ark of the Covenant. They were provided clear directions on how to carry the presence and there were deathly consequences for not following those directions. On this side of the cross we now have full access to come boldly into the presence (Hebrews 10:19-22) and have been set aside as royal priests (1 Peter 2:9), a people created to carry His presence to bring the Kingdom into the world around us.

Join us in Wilmington as Pastor Ryan explores King David’s experiences with the Ark of the Covenant in the Old Testament, what we can learn from those experiences as New Testament believers, and how we were created to carry the presence.

The first word ever recorded as spoken by God was "Let." This seemingly unassuming word, "let," makes a remarkable appearance approximately 175 times in the Bible, notably nine times within the opening chapter of Genesis. Through this simple word, all of creation sprang into existence, as God proclaimed, "Let there be..." Our progress in the Kingdom of God is not propelled by our tireless efforts, fervor, or capabilities. Instead, we advance by letting go, letting God, and letting His grace work through us.

Join us in Mooresville as Senior Pastor Byron Wicker leads us in the discussion of our opportunity to advance in the Kingdom by leaning into grace.
