As human beings, we have vulnerabilities and imperfections, like clay pots that may break or crack. However, we also carry a precious gift: Christ, the source of our hope and glory. Despite our fears and temptations to sin, His word is a mighty hammer that can break down the walls of sin. In a world that can be chaotic and unstable, Christ provides us with peace. We do not need to strive for victory because Christ has already won it for us, and we can freely and gratefully live from that victory.

Join us in Mooresville as guest speaker Jack Liu reminds us who we are in Christ, and the freedom that brings in our walk.

In Psalm 40:1-3, King David spoke about being lifted by God from a terrible and desolate pit. Some people with mental illness use this phrase to describe their symptoms. There is a difference between situational sadness and mental health conditions that hinder our ability to recover on our own. When someone is in a desolate pit, their mind struggles to find a solution to the challenging circumstances. Fortunately, Jesus came to heal our mental and emotional wounds.

Join the Byron Wicker in Mooresville to continue his discussion of the importance of mental health and grace in the church.

The Bible has much to say about our minds because maintaining good mental and emotional health enables us to enjoy life, build meaningful relationships, excel in our careers and personal endeavors, conquer challenges, stay productive, keep learning and developing, and make a positive difference in the lives of others. God can work in us so that we can prosper in mind, emotion, and will.

Join Byron Wicker, the senior pastor of RiverLife Fellowship, as he discusses the importance of the renewed mind.
