One of the most freeing truths of the gospel is that Jesus doesn't bring light to expose us for judgement, but to rescue us with mercy. While darkness thrives on fear, concealment, and shame, the light of Christ reveals a better way where mercy triumphs over judgement and grace meets us right where we are. Though we may choose to walk in the darkness, Jesus reminds us that we don't belong there. His mercies are new every morning, like the dawn breaking through a long night.
